I have the HTC Merge and i followed the commands/all went well.
I see the zip file (correctly named) in the directory data/local but i still have the default boot animation.

I made a neat Angry Birds boot animation that users here might have some success with. I originally designed it to play on the Samsung Prevail, but it should work on most other android phones as well.

If any one can fix the audio sync, that would be great. I added on silence to make it start near the beginning of the animation, but I can't seem to get it right. It may be because the video lags (on my phone anyway). Perhaps someone could optimize it somehow to play better.

This animation will play in widescreen mode and not portrait mode. (mainly because there wouldn't be enough room for the Angry Birds to play havok in. )

Thanks to all for the tips. Here's one I saw on youtube and the uploader was generous enough to send me the gif so I created the boot animation. If anybody wants it, I can send you the file.

I wanted to clean my Eris's screen at startup, so I made this boot animation based on the Screen Cleaner Izzy app by Jared Judd:

Actual bootanimation has 10 frames per second, so it's much smoother (preview is only 2.5 fps).

I saw your dog bootanimatin and is impressed very well with your great achievement.I also want to install in my phone Motorola Milestone running with CM9 4.0.4.Actually I flashed it in this Milestone.But it will not cover the full screen size and also got stuck in bootlooping.But ,however I want this animation.So will you please resize this animation to my screen(480x800) with a boot audio in MP3(if possible) adptible to Milestone A853?I will be very much gratefull to you if you concede to my request.
