Root Boot Animation Problem

Hello all,
I was trying out different boot animations by using ROMTools and pushing the .zip file onto the phone. Was working perfectly for about 15 different ones. Then during the boot when the animation is supposed to start... it's just black. It boots into the phone just fine, now it's just blank where the boot animation should be taking place. I've tried going back to the original using ROMTools, tried installing from sd card in recovery... nothing works. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I fixed it!! I reflashed the recovery to Xionia CWMA 12518.4, then put a descent boot animation on the root of the sd card. rebooted into the new recovery and tried to flash the new animation zip but wouldn't let me. Toggled the signed zip thing, retried the flash from sd card and ''PooF'', it worked!! Woooo Hoooo for me!! I know your not supposed to toggle that, but I figured why not!! I can't remember what recovery I was using, But evidently that one was the problem. I thought I'd write what I did just in case someone runs into the same problem. Now, I'm off to update the PRL!!

You never know when a little tidbit of info might come in handy. Now if there was just a way to categorize and book mark these threads and post to make it easy to find said tidbit when you really need it.
