Root Boot animations help?

I made this bad ass bootanimation for myself, but I'm running stock.
I was reaserching on
how to make a proper .QMG bootani file.
But to no avail.
I also looked up ways to run a .zip as .qmg and I got the same thing. So now.
I'm wondering if there is a way to make stock boot up bootanimqtion.zip folders.

If it doesn't work, then you may need to make a kernel edit. Iirc, back in the Shabbymod days, that's what the Great Penguin had to do
 
why do you want to use qmg? if your using koumakernel on a stock rom you should be able to use zips, and if its still not working even with KK take the file /system/bin/bootanimation from CT and throw it in your rom, make sure the permissions are right.

back in the froyo days all you had to do was rename a samsung bin to bootanimation for zip's to work, once gingerbead came out kouma had to remove and add some shit to init.rc in the ramdisk to get the bin file to start.

The thing is I am on stock.not on halfassrom
So its not taking .Zips
And qmg is stocks way of bootanimation. Lolz
I tried what was on lvs link. But it didn't work for me... or maybe I missed a step. So image redo them again when I get a chance.

I just told you how to get it to work bro
 
I'm still on stock Rom with root.

I changed over bootanimation from ctmod 3.75. Didn't work.
Erased samsungbootloop and it still didn't work.
I tested lvs Link but it didn't work.
Im thinking I might not have my bootanimation zip right.

Did you install KK? You need the kernel along with the bin file and a working animation zip for it to work, if you're missing any of these you'll just have a black screen.
