Help Boot animations

Hey, basically I ****ed up my phone earlier and it took me nearly 5 hours to fix. I had to use kies 3 and recovery and shit like that. Anyway I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 which I bought from Argos UNLOCKED... Anyway, before I messed my phone up it would say "Samsung Galaxy S6 Powered by Android" and then it would do the Samsung animation and tune but ever since I did this reset thing on my phone it says "3" (Three.co.uk). This is a phone carrier in the UK. The phone itself is still unlocked but I just miss the Samsung Boot Animation and tune, is there anyway I could fix this so it's back to normal without rooting because rooting caused this whole problem. Thanks !

The boot animation lives in the /system partition which can't be changed unless it's remounted in read-write mode which (typically*) requires root.

I'm guessing you restored the stock firmware that is different from what you originally had.

* I say typically because there are few devices that can remount their filesystems without needing root.

It says "G920FXXU2COH2"

That's the generic (unbranded, XEU) 5.1.1. firmware for the S6... no way should that have a Three splashscreen.

Download the firmware package from here (you'll need to create a free account) and follow the simple instructions at the bottom of the page. I'd also advise performing a "factory data reset" after updating the firmware, to ensure any vestiges of the previous firmware are exorcised.

XEU used to be the old Samsung csc for the UK, then they switched to BTU later on and now it's back. Someone xda said BTU firmware are on phones that come directly from Samsung (unbranded)
XEU firmware are on Sim Free handsets that are generic (unbranded) but not from Samsung
