Boot loop

When i try to Flash back to kg5 from from kh3 with odin on my s2 i just get a boot loop so i had to reflash with kh3 again to get it to boot. Can anybody advise me please because i found kg5 works better for me

Did you do a "full wipe", (Data, Cache & Dalvik Cache), between flashes?

I had exactly the same problem.
I've had to stick with KH3 for now

Ive tried a factory reset and then flashed with kg5 again and it just keeps looping. Help please because my gmail keeps force closing on kh3

I'm in the same boat as you with regards to firmware but my gmail works fine on KH3.
I would try removing your gmail account on the phone and set it up again.

1. Switch Off the phone
2. Now boot into recovery. Press & hold the following keys together

Thanks guys after doing a factory reset from the phone settings everything seems to work with kh3 now

Why do I NOT see "Advanced" on my screen?

Sounds as if you don't have Clockworkmod Recovery installed. How did you root the handset?
