Root Boot Looped

Okay so I made a really stupid mistake, i changed something in the framework-res.apk that made my phone bootloop it gets to the standard view i see the launcher for a sec then says force close android and just reboots before i get a chance to go in and restore my backed up framework-res.apk is there a way i can fix it without booting fully?

I can't seem to get ADB...

and also i noticed that if you go into the recovery (vol dn and power) and then connect USB it will mount a drive with an image folder that contains boot.img recovery.img and a few other .img files not sure if this would be of any help to people developing custom recoveries.

Edit: it wasn't recovery i booted to.. not sure what it is but just vol dn instead of both vol dn and up will get you there
