Root bootloader problem

Using Mobster's HD rom s-off jb.150 but i put the radio files on the root to the sd card and it doesnt do anything, what do i do

Did you rename the file appropriately?

It should be PG86IMG.zip. Make sure you delete the file IMMEDIATELY after flashing in the bootloader.

If it's already showing a rar file without the .zip extenstion showing (it's there, just hidden), don't add the ".zip" or you would actually make it look like this "PG86IMG.zip.zip" so it won't work

can you tell us what it says in the bootloader?

or it doesn't do anything at all?

(when you boot into bootloader, it would automatically check for the PG86.IMG file)

If it doesn't do anything at all then something is wrong with the bootloader

You're S-off so it doesn't really matter what hboot you're on. It should detect the PG86IMG once you boot into bootloader if you have it on the root of your SD card.

Try power on+volume down while phone is turned off.

tried that twice and it doesnt let me get to it it just turns on

Oh i think i know why, have you disable the fastboot?
It's in settings in battery

Disable fastboot. Then power off phone. Make sure the PG86IMG file is in the root of your SD card.

Then power it on by holding power+volumne down at the same time until you see the bootloader.

Try removing/replacing the battery then press the volume down and power buttons together and hold them until the bootloader starts. Then connect the phone to your PC and make sure the "fastboot usb" mode is active.

If you can do that the hboot file can be flashed using fastboot commands from your PC if you place it in the same directory as your ADB/fastboot files.

i just wanted the march 2013 radio, how do i do that

1. Pull the battery out of your phone and re-insert.
2. Hold volume down then press and hold the power button together until you get to the bootloader.
If the file is named properly, It will autoinstall when the bootloader loads.
3. reboot your phone to your ROM
4. delete the pg86img.zip file off your SD card.

Turn the phone off.

Press and hold volume-down.

Press the power button while holding volume-down.

Release the power button after 2 seconds, keep volume-down pressed.

You're now in the bootloader...
If your install does not start, select "bootloader" by pressing the power button with it highlighted.

Alternatively, when you see "fastboot USB" on the screen, you may do the following:
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
Code:
fastboot flash zip thezipyouwanttoflash.zip
Just make sure your zip file is in the same folder as fastboot when you do that.

Follow the directions that users who are trying to help give you and report back here with the results.

You won't get what you want by second guessing what you are being told.
