So i was on ics 4.1.2 and im just now getting into rooting androids. My friend was trying to tell me how to flash a rom (which i still dot really understand) and i ended up going into cwm and wiping the cache partition. The problem is that i didnt have another rom flashed or anything like that at all and it gets stuck on the samsung splash thing. It will still go into cwm and i just want to know how to get my regular old phone back

Hi goku :hello: Welcome to the forums.

Since you're rooted I moved your thread to the All Things Root forum. :)

If you want to go back to the way your phone was, you can install the stock firmware using the Odin Guide. Just first be sure your phone is the SGH-T989 Galaxy S2.

I'm not sure why you're phone gets stuck booting up. Just wiping the cache partition shouldn't do that. Did you also wipe the system? You might try going to recovery and doing a wipe data/factory reset and see if that fixes it. If you can get to recovery you can still flash a rom. Read this http://androidforums.com/galaxy-s2-t-mobile-all-things-root/627099-guide-root-rom-sgh-t989.html especially the 2nd post about how to install a rom.
