Root Bootmanager Advice

Ok so its not often I ask for advice or help but this one has got me stumped.

I purchased bootmanager from the market. Installed it read the guides and watched the video. Got mildwild, installed it, booted fine no problem. I then got quick system info and saw it took desires default values of 250 147 40.
That's fine I thought, ill go into settings on bm and manually override them to cm7r2 values. But nope, changing this on either host Rom or booted Rom cannot fix this.
So I thought maybe it needed to be changed before flashing. But no, if you set system to 150 it cannot complete the zip install even though there is plenty head room.

So is there a way you can emulate hboot / cmtd sizes or does this software only like defaults.

Edit: it completes the install bit when you check it hasn't extracted it all

Some guy said he got ICS installed and he had custom sizes. This was mentioned in the sandvold thread WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY back. If its any consolation, I could only get it to work with stock values too, buit I did get bored of trying quite quickly so thats not to say it cant be done...

To be honest I dont like it. Wish I hadnt bought it...

Maybe. Plus you'll own it forever so if you have a device that doesn't play well with roms....

Long shot...

I just dont like the way it uses its own boot manager and takes away my boot.img :(
