Root bottom buttons worked while in recovery?

I was in recovery, making a backup, and the 4 bottom buttons vibrated when i touched them..?

Ive never seen this before and just wondering if anyone knows what caused that?

If you were using ClockworkMod 3.0+ it does have the buttons able to be used (feature) while in Recovery and Bootloader. Recently downgraded, not sure if they work in 2.6+ or not, or is Amon_RA has it.
