Ok, I synced with Appbrain. No points in redoing the backup with Bootstrap, it would have told me if it ran out of space on the SD card right? Just kind of strange how it used up exactly what was left..800mb...
Can't answer that but I would diffently make space and back up my present rom. Never know if your Droid might crash during the new install. Just before you are ready to do the Apex install I would do a back up.
open Titanium then press the menu button on the Droid, press batch, then press Run next to all user apps then press select all then press Run the batch operation
Let me know how it goes. Once you are up and running I can give you some tips on theming. You are not going to believe how fast and smooth the phone will run. I did not like the size of the notification icons so I changed mine. I'm an old guy so I'm old school. As you can see pretty simple screen
-Place file on your sdcard. Bootstrap recovery and reboot recovery
-Navigate to mounts and storage. FORMAT data, and cache
-Return to previous menu and install .zip from sd card
-Choose ApeX and install!
Ok ignore my last post. Once you have played with it awhile you are going to change some stuff. I suggest you read all of the Apex post. It will answer a lot of your questions. For icons and notification options go to Droidpirate.com They have a lot of nice free things.
Actually that is Fancy Widget. No longer on the market but I might be able to email you the apk. I also use LPP. I can't seem to figure out how to get a decent size pic to download for you to view
Messing around with icon packs now...downloaded Better Cut for $2. Seems worth it, all this customization, and it just costs $4, for Droid X Bootstrap and BetterCut.
Thats what I have it looking like right now. The Flame live wallpaper is pretty sweet! I'm on a computer in safe mode, so I cant tell. Are those pics too large, or should I resize them?
