Root Bricked or what after GingerBread update?

I've attempted the Gingerbread update and I guess since i had it plugged in to the usb when updating it didnt do something right... now im stuck on bootloader and when i flashed via sbf my battery died on the 2nd part of the flash... now it just says:

Boot Loader
30.04

Code Currupt

Battery Low
Cannot Program

Will i be able to flash again with sbf once i get battery charged? Im not sure if the battery is charging or not tho... when i plug into wall it acts like nothing is plugged in but usb shows green light...

any help would greatly greatly greatly be apprecitated...

When the code is corrupt the phone will not charge. Ever.

You have to either charge your battery in someone else's phone, borrow someone else's charged battery, or use the frankencable hack that someone posted here. It involves cutting up a USB cable.

Get your battery charged, and use the 2.3.340 SBF to get your phone back up and running. It'll be fine.

And don't apply firmware with anything less than a very full battery... but you already knew that ;)

I don't think it will charge in bootloader mode but I could be wrong. I had the data corrupt error on the bootloader two weeks ago but was able to use rsd with no issues. Mine wasn't from a drained battery but once you get it charged up you should be good to go.

There is a good post in the sticky about this error as well.

I agree with this :D

And your battery will not charge in bootloader mode.

I had to do that before... it's very easy. I had a spare usb cable lying around and was in the same shoes as you and started freaking out a bit about it. I didnt have a buddy with an X I could borrow to charge my battery.
