Root Bricked! Please help!

How do I know if RSD is working? I have selected the file, I have port one selected, and have clicked start. Nothing appears to be happening...Is this normal? I'm looking for some sign of progress. It doesn't appear to be doing anything.

There is info in the file properties screen, but nothing in the device properties screen. What the...is going on? Am I missing something here?...please help!
 
Well...How do you freaking like that! Never could get it to run out of RSD. So I put another battery in and turn on the phone again...fully expecting the phone to freeze up again at the custom boot logo. But then all of a sudden...it goes on through and boots normally! So I look at the back of the phone to see if I can find any obvious reason for this to just all of a sudden happen.

One thing I did notice was that the battery does not
