Help bricked s2 help please

I know civility is appreciated but seriously when you have a major problem you simply need to provide more information.
Even if it is as long as an essay we need to know what happened - we need to know what the phone is showing when you turn it on and any and all things that have been done to it. I know at least for myself I do take the time to read a long post especially when the person needs help with something that happened.
This is just like my family friends - "The computer does not work how do I fix it?"
So what happened - you tried to upgrade to ICS and what did the phone do? What version were you using before the upgrade? Were you rooted before? Any custom roms on there? What does the phone show now (as you think it is bricked)? Can you make any photos with your camera to for us to see if you cannot describe it?
It is very likely that if the phone is bricked you will lose your photos and apps so that it can be fixed but its better to get it fixed than to try to recover something out of the memory. Also if you have a memory card in the phone it is likely that the pictures will survive?

This sounds like it may be the last GB update, as that would be the first upgrade he would get before ICS... (I know they were pushing OTA, but that update never installed on my phone from the push).
Yes, we need more details, but if you were all stock and a stock update DON'T WORRY, if it's really bad T-mo should take care of it.
NOW, Photos are the most important thing, where were you storing them, by any chance to the external SD? If so pull it out and slap it in a reader.
