Root bricked ZTE n861 boost mobile HELP!!!

hi im not that much of a noob to rooting but apparently i tried flashing n00bs custom rom on my zte n861 and it bricked my phone.now i believe its a soft brick because my phone vibrates when its powered on but it shows a scrambled splash screen and doesnt boot up it just goes directly to charging mode(shows battery charging).it doesnt have no green alien showing nor do i have either recoveries available(stock, cwm)when i plug it into the zte update tool it goes passed the first two sequences but not the 3rd(can not read handset info).i have literally tried every program from odin to zte multi-downloader.nothing has worked and if it does seem to work i end up hitting a brick wall with some type of missing file or some modification i must do.when i plug my phone in normal state my pc doesnt recognize my phone neither does adb,my phone is only recognized in download mode(DFU).is there any way i can salvage my phone without sending it to the manufacturer for repair?

Sorry to say but Your phone is done man. You gotta send it in for repairs. When you installed the rom you flashed different rom partitions not to mention the actual kernel which is never ok. Nothing you can do to get it back up and running other than sending it in for repairs. BTW don't ever use Odin lol its exclusively for Sammy devices zte tool is the closest thing you got to Odin for zte phones and it barely does have the stuff that Odin does.

ugh and i got it off a page that was suppose to be custom roms for the warp sequent.thanks anyways guys looks like im goin to have to send it in and wait like 2 weeks to get it back.btw can u please link me to any good stable custom roms meant for the warp sequent,i follow u guys forums alot and i know ur legit so ill follow ur leads.THANKS!

Make sure you only use ROM's from this forum. Most of them start with [ROM] in the title of the thread. If you are looking for stable where everything works, your only options are the stock based ROMS. shinru2004's Awesome Android is based off stock B07, my SuperROM is based on stock B09. I would start off with one of those. Good luck ;)

well, first off you have to make sure you get things from a trusted source. look for places where it seems like actual people are communicating like this forum, some random page with random generic seeming comments like "this is great!" isnt always gonna be safe. androidforums, unleashed prepaids, xda, forum sites like these are usually pretty safe... the problem you ran into here though is you got a rom for the wrong device. you have to be VERY careful, the phone you have is the zte warp sequent n861, the n00b rom was for the zte warp n860. not interchangable

always double check the device name and model number, there are about 50 different versions of a samsung galaxy s2, the difference is the model number, if its not an exact match chances are you will break your phone, just stick to the warp sequent n861 section (not warp n860) and you will be fine

The splash screen scrambled is an issue with the splash in a different format then the N860's, You can't get in recovery because the n00b ROM flashed the N860's recovery to whatever partition and overwrote yours. To some it up everything else that was flashed in that ROM was flashed to mismatching partitions, as Junkie and Superr said the files you flashed were not made for your phone thus making your device a brick. Now, to top it all off this could have been prevented by a bit of code in ye ol' updater-script the old wise fool PlayfulGod ( and many others use ) which is commonly called "getprop", Being the case that getprop was present when you tried to flash this ROM it would have searched for your phone's ID and compared it to the N860's and when they didn't match installation would have failed. Anyways, Sorry I couldn't help more best of luck to you.
