Root Bricked

Maybe that makes sense...?

Perhaps the LG Logo "bricked" state occurs because of bad data/charges stored in the capacitors of the circuit board?

Removing the battery and holding the power button to completely drain the charges of the onbaord capacitors SOUNDS like a reasonable solution.

Im just surprised verizon didnt charge you a service charge for taking out the battery and Holding the power button. :P

lol i once thought i bricked my phone because i couldn't get to recovery after forgetting to wipe my phone after installing a custom rom but i got back to it with allyrr... its a good tool when you think your bricked

Guess my phone has just becomes a paperweigt too! I thought i could flash a generic rom so that all verizons bloatware and login issue to be solved, but now the phone would not pass the logo stage and it keeps shifting from left to right(LOGO). Have tried to put it in recovery, no way! Have tried with LGPST, no way! No matter what, the system is no longer detecting the phone. Is there no other way to unbrick this wonderful phone? Please help!

Stupid question, but it seems like a good one to ask...

Did you try a battery pull?

Alright negro, do you have 2.1 or 2.2? And do you have fastboot? If you can boot into fastboot you can wipe data and manually flash a recovery and maybe then you can get into recovery and flash a new ROM.

Nope, hav tried all suggested but it seems that it still maintains hanging on that logo screen! Also, it's not being detected on the system! My you guys are awesome and thanks for making fun of my name!

After much ado, i finally unbricked the phone using death2all110 tutorial but had to use key 0 instead of 5 before i could flash and revive the phone! Only problem now is that the ESN and MEID got wiped in the process! Is there a way out? To rewrite the MEID and ESN? Please assist me!

Rewriting an esn or meid is illegal. Sorry.

Thanks, since it's illegal, what do you suggest i should do? Is there a way to repair it then, since the actual ESN was damaged ? please assist me!
