I think I really bricked it this time!! I need help!! I was trying to flash the latest AOSP GB rom. I went through all the steps; flashed the new CWrecovery(orange text) wiped/formatted everything, and was in the middle of flashing the rom and it froze. I waited for 10 minutes and nothing. I finally pulled the battery and now it will only pull up the white HTC screen. I cant even get into recovery mode!!! what can I do? any suggestions?

I only formatted the boot, system, data, and cache just like the instructions say. I followed the instructions to the letter.

Yeah...but the Format data is right next to the format sdcard...and using a track ball its EASY to slip.

Did you backup your SD card?

ok -
Pull the battery and Wait 5 Then try to Reboot into recovery -

Wait Does the Laptop Recognize the phone?

No i took the sd out and used the sd coverter and plugged it into the sd slot. I left the battery out for about 10-15 min and still the same. Just white!! Is there any other way to get to the recovery?

If you plug the phone into the PC and mount it does the PC recognize it ?? that is what he is asking

How are you booting into recovery, from the phone, or from the CWM app ??

Turn the phone off, wait then hold the volume down button and the end key at the same time, once prompt then hit the home key to get into recovery.

Im holding the home button as I turn the phone on. and it just sits there on the white htc screen

Just as an FYI, some early rooted Heros still use Home+power to boot into recovery mode. I know that's how mine was, and the 3 Heros my wife and 2 sons have also. I haven't used Clockworkmod's recovery. I believe Amon RA still uses that key sequence, but not 100% sure.

It doesnt boot up passed the white HTC screen so my computer does not recognize my phone, so the RUU will not work. It looks like I'm screwed.
