Root Broken camera help

So I tried to install the miui camera with no luck, tried renaming it to replace the stock camera and now i seem to have made the entire camera inoperable. Anyway to get the stock camera working again?

Wipe cahce and dalvik cache and then flash whatever ROM you're running again.

In the future, just freeze or move the stock camera.apk to your SD card then install the MIUI camera and copy the permissions the stock one had.

Also when you paste an app in /system/app you will need to correct the permissions of the app to rw-r--r-- otherwise it will appear that it is not installed

Still no luck.. on the permissions I tried to change thru root explorer, what exactly are they supposed to be? It shows user owner execute etc.

from the top down it should be R W -, R - -, R - -
User is read and write, the others are just read.
