Help Bugs After Installing 1.47 Upgrade, Post Them Up!!

My weather & clock widget disappeared on me today. Then I rebooted it and it popped back up by all the way on the very right home screen(wasnt there before). Moved it over and hasnt done it again.

My voicemail widget no longer shows a count and doesn't register most of the voicemails I get - registers some but not others.

Same here. In addition to this my wifi seems to time out automatically at random times. I have to toggle it off then on again to get it to connect, really annoying.

I'm very new to the world of Android; I'm a former blackberry owner.
I did the upgrade and now I have several apps that won't function saying that my phone is no longer "rooted".:mad:
I have been reading threads for a while now and I am looking for a very basic explanation as to how to get my phone back the way it was. I'm not dumb but all the super technical stuff is not making sense to me. Can someone please help me?

Since the update, my phone has rebooted itself several times. I can't seem to find any rhyme or reason to it, either; it just seems to do it randomly. It never did this before.

Full Toast Root w/ unlocked NAND and latest OTA.....

My gmail will receive but now won't send. The Outbox messages are just sitting there with a red "Sending." I called Sprint and they told me to do a hard reset (Thanks Sprint...always on the ball!).

Any suggestions?

If not, I may just hard reset, update "legit" all the way up to the latest OTA, and then do the new root that was just released.

It might only be my phone, but I seem to have some sort of responsiveness issue with the touchscreen after the update. Sometimes my phone will not take my finger as input until I power off/on the screen. This never occurred prior to the update, so I have to assume it's not a hardware issue-- but something they tweaked in the software to address grounding problems in some models.

I'm aware that if it's a hardware bug/problem (and not because of the update) I can exchange my phone under warranty, so I'm not worried.

But I hope it's resolved in future updates.

It's not just you, I'm having the same problem, and it's getting annoying. Not only do I have to power the screen off, but I have to do it a few times. Then when it finally takes, it tries to perform all the other actions I attempted when it was frozen.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one! I've started to wonder if maybe it's a hardware issue.. but the coincidence of the OTA update and the problem on my phone is just too hard to ignore.

Have you seen any other threads/users with this issue, DaddyJ? If it was because of the OTA update you'd have certainly expected other posts about it. I haven't seen much.

Something I started to notice is when I click on someone in Messages it'll quickly highlight somebody else and bring up their conversation instead of the one I pressed. I'll have to keep going back and trying again until it works. The really annoying part is it happens a random times so I can't replicate the issue to show somebody.

Sense now randomly crashes and has to restart.

also the friend stream widget now crashes whenever it tries to refresh. a hard reset seems to have helped, as it can actually refresh now, but if i try to comment on something via facebook it crashed (twitter via the friend stream doesn't have this issue)

on the upside my battery life went from a dismal 2Hrs to a respectable 12Hrs! Also i have noticed that the WiFi signal has become a lot more stable, although it still randomly disconnects when i have sling player running, it did this before the update though...
