Help Built in task killer widget?

I could be wrong but I thought there was a video somewhere that showed a widget from Samsung that displayed the number of apps you had running and gave you access to a built in task killer when you pressed it. Can anyone confirm this? I wont have mine until tomorrow afternoon.

Advanced task killer was on the Fascinate at VZW, but not sure if stock or someone installed it before I tried it out at noon.

VZW reps usually install it on their demo models, and then if they set your phone up they put it on as well.

Is it actually useful?

Well... to some people it will be. I just long press the Home button and go to the Task Manager from there. If you don't want to do that, then the widget will be just fine. I guess it's also an easy way to see how many applications are running.

At first i was going to ignore getting the Advanced Task Killer. I was happy holding down the home key and doing it that way. However, out of curiousity, i downloaded it anyway and found that the built in task manager wasnt showing nearly as much as the app was. Like maybe showing 15 apps open while the built in task manager showed about 2-3.

Can anyone else confirm that this is happening to them too?

I think it's perhaps that way because there are certain apps that Samsung wants you to close certain ones and not the others since they don't really do anything while in idle.
