Button Savior !!

Has anyone tried this app yet, if you do let me know if you are able to get it to work, I have tried and was not successful, now on there site they say if SU permission is not granted to try to please update SU binary and superuser apk. Andy and MC give this a try and let me know if you guys can get this working, seems like a nice way to protect the hard buttons from wearing out Maybe it needs to have a blank spot on the home screen as I am using only one screen at the moment and it is pretty much full now, LOL

It looks like this app is fairly new, maybe it still needs bugs worked out I would try but I'm running GB right now and I'm already losing out on some applications that are not GB compatible. If I go back to froyo, I will let you know

1 screen? I'm using 7, any reason you use only 1 screen? Just curious

Just nandroided back to 0.9.9.2 and everything works just fine with the application, no troubles here. Kind of cool

Try this for the heck of it, it does not show up on my home screen and I am guessing that is because my screen is full, let me know if you fill your screen if it still shows up

There should be a little arrow on either side of your screen, you can change from the left side or right side. Then you can also change the position of the arrow, either at the bottom or middle or at the top of the screen.

That little arrow is faint, so maybe get a dark background or a dark icon so you can see it better

Try to change trigger icon position to different value. Sometimes it goes out side of your screen if you have screen density mod. I am the dev of Button Savior. In 1.0.5-1.0.7, I accidentally set initial trigger icon position to 0, which is top right hand side of screen. So very likely it goes out of ur screen.

please go to setting/ location security/ device admin to remove button savior from the list first

cant u see the icon beside the seekbar ? just right beside number 220?

I can see it in the settings when I take a picture, and in other screens, but still can't see it on the home screen, you telling me you see it on the home screen? The only time I get it on the home screen is when I am in another screen setting and tap on it then it shows up on the home screen

Edit: no matter what I do, I still can't get it to stay on the home screen unless I go to a different page and activate it then it stays on the home screen, but I have to activate it from a different screen to get it there everytime it is closed out, it will not allow to be activate from the home screen once closed, unless there is a way to make it darker maybe that is my issue.

i see the icon on ur home screen too. it blends into the home screen background. The icon is intentionally made to look very fade. You can use Sense UI theme. The trigger icon of sense UI is solid color and very easy to see.

Thanks Jerry I see it but as you say you really have too look, you should simply put a setting to edit the darkness that would resolve these issues, great little app bud, Happy New Year
