Newest stable cyanogen 6.1 stable, uncapped kernal.

Everything worked fine this morning, but this afternoon, my home, back, menu buttons dont work. trackball and search work. It did it to me last week, but after about 15 min of rebooting and battery pulling it came back. not this time.

can only get into recovery by reboot, and when i go to delete dalvik cache, it requires me to press home in order to continue. but it dont work.

what can i do? im not at home so i cant connect the phone to my computer. pls help asap.

Flash back to stock... - Night as well update your PRL when you are there.
See if that fixes...if not.....You are at stock....time to go to the sprint store...

The thing is, im with alltel, not sprint. their is no stock alltel rom/ruu or whatnot.
how can i flash back when i cant use the home button in recovery? i was gonna nandroid but you have to use home in order to confirm.

i do have insurance on the phone. should i just run it over and get a new one? lol. i'd like to NOT do this, but i think it might be my only option.

What recovery are you using? If you are using CM6, you should be able to long press on the end/red button and boot to recovery that way without turning off phone;)
