Root c7 theme chooser themes?

Hey folks the thread that nfs13epic posted about GO Launcher got me thinking and wondering more about theme chooser themes and I don't know anything about them. I Googled and found a couple pages that show a handful of really nice C7 themes and followed a link to the Cyanogenmod website where this all happens but I'm confused as to which, or are any of these compatable with the OV? I read something about that this was a T-Mobile thing that Cyanogenmod worked into the rom but whatever specs are required I don't understand. These do change the status bar correct? Not sure how much they're compatible with GO Launcher as I found some thread where people were complaining about the theme dock not working right with some other launcher dock. In particular one that looks good that has a variety of status bar icon colors is Upward Spiral. This would seem to me to be an easier way than the flashing of themes from recovery? Do these not work with our OV's and that's why I don't see it discussed? Sorry for the long thread but thanks to anyone that answers..:)

I'm using Launcher Pro on the most recent BACKside build.
I've installed the Honeycomb 3D-SD icons theme from the market. I had to have the theme chooser app to make the theme install work. This is included in all the newer gapps for the Gingerbread ROM's.

But, these themes aren't divided into different categories for dif phones?

Anyway thanks guys I'm gonna try this out!

From my experience and I believe rule of thumb that the cm7 themes have to be mdpi to work on our phones. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh this is cool, I just installed basic blue, red, orange, and purple by Upward Spiral and each was only a little more than 3 MB. Easy and they apply right away, no reboot. Good enough to go with whatever wallpaper and very minimal. I'm a happy camper, wish I knew about this all along!:D

You are correct, sir. Apk themes don't require a reboot, but don't theme as much either. For example, no bootanimation. I know there's more, I just don't know what off the top of my head.

That's ok anyway I'm not that concerned with boot animation. Just coordinating my status bar icons and clock, clock widget and wallpaper color with a few color borders and lines is pretty much good enough for me. The peeping Android noti dropdown is pretty cool to use always, and I recently started using the lense lockscreen, that's cool too.:)

I've tried many many themes, but for some odd reason I keep going right back to this one. I love the soft grey colors with the orange highlights, and the statusbar widget icons are perfect. Nice, clean, and professional looking theme.

MIUI 1.8.12 theme for CM7 by ZduneX25

Added LP New MIUI Icon Pack by TweetyPeety from the Market to set it off.

Reboot.

If you decide to install that theme; save it to your SD card, use your file manager to locate it and then tap on it to install. You'll then find it listed in the Theme Chooser in your app drawer.

I can't part with my theme ^ for nothing. Even changed ROM's one time because the one I was running acted buggy with it installed.
