Help Calendar / gmail sync issue

I'm having some issues with my EVO no longer syncing with my gmail account. This has been a problem for a few weeks now.

My setup:
HTC EVO, using the default calendar. The USB cable is not used for syncing.

Under Settings/Accounts&Sync//Manage accounts/Google/Sync Calendar (and contacts, and gmail) are all selected.
I have events in my phone that are not being synced to my gmail calendar account.

On my desktop, I'm running Google Calendar Sync, to then sync up to Outlook.

Any suggestions?

If I recall correctly clearing data+cache. For calendar and then manually syncing calendar. Fixes this

Thank you. I think I may have found the problem. It appears I have two calendar options in my phone, and the events that are not synchronizing are in a calendar called "PC Sync", while the ones that are, are in a calendar that is my Gmail account address. I'm thinking this is really that obvious, that I just need to change the calendar the missing events are associated with, and it should be good. The only challenge I have now, is it's not clear to me how to change that. When I create a new event, it asks me where it should go, and defaults to the gmail one. So you would think that when I Edit a pre-existing event, I would have that option. But I don't seem to be able to do so. Am I missing something obvious?

Hrm....I strictly use the Google calendar ...no pc sync

Yep, I'm pretty sure I know how this got messed up now. I entered a new appointment on my work computer, which is on a completely different network and system. Often, in my list of participants, I include myself at my separate home e-mail account, so it'll send to my home account, where I'll accept that night at it'll be on my home calendar too. I use my home e-mail account, which predates the introduction of Gmail, so habit. Now, the e-mail also shows up on my EVO while I'm still at work. So I click accept on my EVO, and it gets put into my EVO calendar. I do this rather than download and accept at home now. BUT, apparently when I do this is links it to PCSync calendar of events in my EVO, and not my gmail calendar of events. So it never gets synced into Gmail. And, ironically, by extension it never gets synced into my Outlook calendar at home, because at home I've been deleting the e-mail invitations, since I already accepted them and entered them into my EVO.

So, long term solution. Don't accept the invites until I get home. Or, send the invites to my g-mail account.
