Help calender entry creates invitee

my google calenders are shared and my wifes gmail acount is the primary holder of the calender and i have full share and edit facility. my problem is that when i create a appointment on my phone and it syncs with my pc it creates a appt with my wife being an attendee and she has to respond this is annoying as she has to accept a work appt that she only wants to be able to refer to as a reference. is there a setting im missing or something im doing wrong. the particanpts list is blank but still shows mt wife as a invitation.

my iphone never did this but just showed the account on both phones without the need to say yes no or maybe

Thanks Slug I've set the notifications to no but it still creates my wife as a invitee when I create an event for reference on our shared calendar that she's the owner.

For example if I create a event shift change and put time in 0800 to 1600 and save the event I go into the pc and the event has a question mark in it and it requests my wife to say yes no or maybe. This is so annoying and I've just left my iPhone 4 for a sgs2 this never happened with my iPhone 4 it just created the event

New event on Android appears as invitation on desktop calendar - Google Mobile Help

this is a known issue, and not a simple workaround available (although some trickoy ones apparently)

I purchased Calgoo as I use my google calendar a lot, and figured the few bucks well worthwhile. It is an awesome app - and one of only three I have ever purchased. The widgets and interfaces are brilliant.

Hope this helps.

(wow - had to introduce myself a bunch of times before being able to post these links - kind of annoying, but kind of understandable)

ive downloaded it and it still shows my wife as a invitee when i acess our shared calender and also any event other than recurring ones after 30 days dissapear from the phone but still on the pc .

What about new events you add via Calgoo? Previous events will be like that - they don't get changed automatically.

Also disable your current stock android calendar if you have installed calgoo, plus read the manual - there are loads of settings.

have you set the calendars to sync, and accessed all the sync and visibility settings in calgoo?
