Help Calender wiget froyo

So my wife got her update before I did(jealous), however the google calendar widget is gone and we both used it extensively is there a way to get it back(I checked the market).

I have a similar issue, didn't want to clutter the board with extra topic postings so replying to this one.

received the OTA update this AM, first thing I did was go through and see which apps icons were "busted" (so far, none... yay!), went in and moved all allowable apps to the SD Card because i got that damned "low on disk space" notification immediately (yay!).

so far the only issue is, my Corporate Calendar and Corporate Contacts icons have disappeared, and they aren't showing in my full apps list. On my main home page I have icons for gmail, calendar and contacts on one row; and email, corp calendar and corp contacts on another... for work.

We use Exchange/Outlook; and we use ConnectWise for our billing & ticketing; which is tied into Exchange (the owner can't get a decent demo for the ConnectWise Android App before committing to the $$). If I schedule work in ConnectWise, it is added to my Exchange Calendar, and after syncing appears on my phone (which is great because if the user is at a jobsite and that info has been entered in the appropriate fields it links to google maps, so i can open the calendar entry and click on the Map link and get navigation to the jobsite).

so after all this long-winded explanation... what happened to the corp calendar/contacts, and can i get them back????

Ok so I tried out the LG cal, but it is way to big for my homescreen anyone else have any ideas?

So apparently my "problem" is that with 2.2 they've combined the Corp Calendar & Google Calendar into 1. It just took a while for my calendar to reflect the updates, even after multiple syncs. I checked my work calendar and made a test entry; and it is showing up in my single Calendar.

I may be one of the only 2 people in the Android-verse who actually liked having separate calendars. oh well.

maybe not an ideal solution, but you could try 2 different calendar apps and have one sync with each.

Try Calendar Pad from the market and set it to 'week' view. Works great.

A couple of things to check (based on my phone set up, of course)

1. In the email settings for your corporate acct: menu --> Account Settings. Scroll down to "Incoming Settings" and make sure "Sync Contacts" and "Sync Calendar" are checkmarked.

Above that, I have my "amount to synchronize" set to 1 month, and "email check frequency" set to automatic (push).

2. in your Calendar: menu --> More --> Calendars: find your "corporate" calendar in the list and make sure it says "synced, visible." if not, you can cycle through the choices by clicking on that Calendar entry

now that it is syncing, it is working out pretty well, and i've reworked my google calendars (multiple instead of just one) to utilize the color coding to help me sort everything out.

it seems to be working well in both directions... ticketing system --> corporate calendar --> phone calendar and vice versa.

I have been using the calendar widget included in LauncherPro. In my opinion, it looks and functions better than the stock one or the S2 calendar widget on the market. Ease of use is unparalleled.
