Calibrate GPS

Is there a way to calibrate the GPS? When I'm in Google Maps my location always seems to be off by about 30 - 60 feet. Or is this as close as it can get? Maybe the navigation in 2.1 will be better.
 
i do not think there is a way to calibrate GPS. i have explored just about every menu there is on this phone and have never come across it. i have the 2.1 rom but i never remember noticing it being off when i had 1.5 but i was using google nav this evening and it was spot on!
