Help Call Dismissed

I have an Android HTC Evo 4g. I am having troble connecting when I make or recieve a phone call. I have to dial out 2 or 3 times to connect to the other person because I get an error message "Call Dismissed". When I finally do get a connection the party I have dialed can not hear me or I cut in and out or sound like I am outside in the wind.
We have performed all the updates, PRL and system updates. I have powered it off and removed the battery and put it back. What else can I try?

i moved you to the troubeshooting section.

are you rooted? i would try and do a factory reset.....not much else other then calling or bringing it into sprint. they might have some tower issues as well that they can tell you about.
