Help Call Recorder App...that works??

Hello all,

Wondering if anyone can recommend a good call recording app for the Skyrocket? One that actually does work? lol

I've tried a number of them and none work at all. Those that do work only on speakerphone. One that I managed to get working was not stable and extremely poor sound quality.

I find it hard to believe there isn't an app that does provide this functionality for this particular phone. I've always found a good one with all other Android phones I have owned.

Hoping somebody out there found one or tweaked one to get it working properly?

Its actually a function that att disabled/did not enable. Seanscreamz Roms all have call recording avalabity I believe
 
Mr. Ed,

I just tried a few more that some claim works, but they do not. Does it have to be a ROM? What about a Kernel? If so, can you recommend a Kernel that supports this, as well as boot animations?

I believe that all three kernel choices we have support boot animations. da_g's, faux's and the stockish but I could be wrong

From what I recall reading you have to choose a rom that has call recording enabled.
 
Mr. Ed,

If I flash the stock-ish Kernel, would I be able to update to ICS when it is officially released? Is it just a custom ROM that will prevent you from doing this or can a different Kernel be used and still update the phone properly?

You will want to wait to flash the ics update when there is a rooted update available.

You will not be able to accept the update while rooted for multiple reasons, mainly cwm /custom recovery
 
And, you realize that recording phone calls without informing the other parties first is illegal in most states...

I believe most states require one of the two parties know and that is all.

Hard to say.

Since the question has been raised I will pose the question to the guide and moderation crew

Was about to give up but last post of same question on xda surprised me. Funny, I tried that software and it didn't work...paid for it. Then that last post with attachment worked! Works flawlessly and records both sides. No need to flash.
Would be nice to know where and when exactly it is illegal. However, there were times in the past with certain bad situations I have been in where this helped big time. It is a must have for me!
