I also have a team mate that constantly writes dates like this: July 4'thand constantly uses a semi-colon instead of a colon (no, not the internal organ, silly!) :banghead:.

I would personally write it as Samsung Galaxy's.
I'm not a grammar nazi, but it does annoy me anytime someone uses the word irregardless. Just...no.
Oh, don't forget those who do not capitalize at all, or do not use spaces after punctuation. Two spaces after the end of sentences people.

Are we still using typewriters? pretty odd peeve in the age of the computer... It's really no longer necessary.
Disagree.
It's not supported without calisthenics on a web page and Microsoft Word decided it wasn't necessary.
Nonetheless, I find the lack of two spaces nearly infuriating and indicative of a serious malfunction.

I use 2 spaces after a period to end a sentence. After a period that does not end a sentence, such as an abbreviation, I use only one space. It bothers me when I type the 2 spaces and then the system, website or whatever changes it to one space.
This web site just removed on of the two spaces I put after my periods to end a sentence. Does anyone know how to force the second space to appear?
One of our anti-spam measures is to disallow embedded html code.
There's no other way to do it on any website other than explicit meta codes - html interpretation parses multiple spaces and most whitespace as a single space.
You can try using NOPARSE tags.

Two spaces still looks better to me.
In fact, we were taught in cursive handwriting class to double the space after a period, compared to what we used for a comma.
That was a continuation of what I learned when I could only print block letters.

I always double after a period too!!! That's the way it sposed to be...but my kids tellme I'm wrong and their teachers don't like it that way....I blame mediocracy and laziness....no really I do!!!
I also always indent 5 spaces for a new paragraph...which apparently is also becoming faux pas...
