Help Calling bug on Evo

Has anybody expirienced this on the Evo Its happened to me twice now. I will make a call and the calling screen will disapear once the sensor to shut off the screen is turns on and it will go to the home screen which its not suppose to do unless you press the home screen buttom or press the go back button when your on the calling screen.

The first time it happened I had restart the phone for it to stop doing that. Today it did it for half the day and than went away by itself.
 
So has anyone else had this bug cause it happened to me again today out now where. I want to know how to get rid of this and if anyone else has had this happened cause it really pissing me off now.
 
Mine only does it if the other party hangs up or when i have widget locker set to lock screen when in call.

Are you by chance using an auto kill setting with a task killer? If so add "phone" to the ignore list

Yes Iam using an Auto kill setting so I will try that but dont see why I would have to kill thay app if what it should be doing is leaving the calling screen on. And no I dont have a widget to lock the screen either. Thanks for the info.
 
Well...if it is set to auto off when screen off....it is killing apps that are running when the screen goes off ie when you put the phone up to your ear. If phone isnt being ignoresmd in the ignore list, then atk is most likely trying to kill it thus you are getting the home screen.

I checked my automatic task killer and phone wasnt even in the list. I also have task killer should I check in there
 
Yes. It will only show up while in a call. Of course this is all just speculation. It may not be the cause. Why two? I would consider losing at lest one. Actually a great test would be to uninstall both and run 24-48 hrs without them and see if that fixes it

Ok Il try it with voicemail. But the thing is It will only do it at random so removing the apps wont really help. I have two only cuz sometimes the automatic one doesnt close everything I want closed.

Ok so that didnt work it didnt show me the phone even while on a call. And it didnt again right now when I ended a call Iam not understanding it cause it looks like something that is not bug and there for reason.
