Calls Blocker for LG Esteem

Hi, I've been lurking for a while in this magnificent forum but still there are some areas where I need to learn. Well the purpose of this thread is to ask anyone that have a rooted LG Esteem and is using an application named 'Root Call Blocker Pro' designed by 'Fahrbot Mobile' for information as to how this application is working, I'm more interested in knowing the following:

1- Does 'Root Call Blocker Pro' blocks and rejects any and every private or restricted phone call without leaving any trace and of course without leaving a voicemail message?

2-Does it blocks completely calls from phone numbers defined in the black list accurately 100 % of the time?

3- Do you need to have Data or Internet connection active all the time for the application to work correctly? This concerns me since I turned off my Internet connection most the time in order to conserve battery, but in the application description in the 'App Market' says 'Internet Connection' is mandatory to hook into the communications system.

I've tried a lot of call blockers and NONE of them work with my phone 'LG-Esteem' the developer of 'Extreme Call Blocker Droid' from 'GrayThinker' told me that none of the call blockers will work with the LG-Esteem due to a bug in the phone and it seems to be true. My last resource is the 'Root Call Blocker Pro' for rooter phones since the developer told me it uses a different algorithm to block calls efficiently. My phone is not rooted yet but I'd root it if anyone can answer satisfatorily the above enumerated questions.

Regards,

Carlos

Well the one I was using works really good ( ROOT CALL BLOCKER)

Were you using that application in the past or are you still using it in your rooted LG-Esteem ?

Do you need to have Internet Connection or Data activated all the time for it to work?

Does it take a lot of RAM space in your phone?

I'm just trying to know the facts before rooting and buying the application 'Root Call Blocker' as I'm a little afraid to root my phone and then find the
application doesn't work as advertized.

What calls are you trying to block? People you don't like that have your phone #?
IF that's the case, why not simply add them to your phone book & then have their calls sent directly to voicemail, only to be deleted later? This is a stock option included in the phone-root not required. Merely add as a contact, go into that particular contact(s) settings & make the proper selection.

Your solution is not practical to me since I'm a very busy person and I don't have time to do all those steps for the telemarketing calls I receive on a daily basis. A true blocked phone call to me means I don't have to deal manually with any of them, and I don't have to know anything about them, I don't have to be aware or listen to their stupid messages at any time in my voicemail, pestering callers should be in a black list not in my contacts list ( which happens to be my very dear customers and friends ) and simply they shouldn't even appear in my calls log at all. Blocked calls must be completely obliterated automatically without the user intervention for that purpose there are some applications that do just that only that none of them work with my LG-Esteem ( using Gingerbread 2.3.4 ). I used one application called Mr. Number ( old version ) effectively with my LG-Optimus MS610 ( using Froyo 2.2 ), then I tried to use that same application with my LG-Esteem without success. I contacted the developer of 'Root Call Blocker' and he said it should work with my phone if it's rooted since it bypasses the stock telephony system of any Android phone independently of the brand name or operating system, but that's what he says so I'm trying to find any real person that have my same phone (LG-Esteem MS910) and is using that same application to verify that it actually works as a true call blocker.
Anyways thank you for your advice but it doesn't do it for me.

Best regards.:)
