I believe Flash doesn't work with this is what was intended to be said lol. Not to be the grammer guy.

This worked perfect for me! Thanks for the post and I'll confirm that the flash works in both the camera as well and the video camera (WHILE RECORDING!!!) Which is steller because I've wanted to use my flash in video mode for quite some time.:)
 
quality is great with this but the volume is just low. I honestly think its the placment of the mic. its facing the person recording instead of being on the bottom part of the phone like most are. I think they messed up with this. I have tested and I can hear myself great when recording but have trouble hearing anything else. Im looking for a hack or mod to boost the Mic volume.

I'll test this tonight but I think my results will be the same I agree about the placement of the mic being the issue but I guess for myself when I consider the fact that i bought this as a phone and not a video camera the mic placement is perfect lol it's a technicality but I give it a huge oh well lol it doesn't effect my feelings on the phone at all

No, I meant don't but anyway, it was my fault, I guess if you have anti shake on, the flash don't work.
 
Works great! Been looking for a new camera app for awhile. Thanks! Much better than the stock version that came with the phone.
 
will be using these two apps from now on. thank you guys! *the stock apps kinda suck! :p

MIUI camera for photo. (Go Launcher Ex camera dock icon 'tap')
lgCamera for videos. (Go Launcher Ex camera dock icon 'gesture')

btw im loving Go Launcher Ex. gestures ftw! :p
 
I switch between the MIUI for pics and the LG for video...the Audio is alot better on the LG for Video for sure. I got the paid version
 
Okay, so what are the befits over the stock camcorder versus using the LG video? I like the MUIU camera so far, but because of the interface. I've noticed no increase in quality on the pictures. Also, does the LG software allow for using the flash while filming?

LGcamera lets you use the flash while filming yes. It also lets you adjust audio quality so when you record, as posted above, the audio sounds MUCH better than stock. Its alot more flexible basically.
