Help Camera keeps reverting to widescreen resolution - after GB ota

So I got the gingerbread update a few days ago and am enjoying the new look. I use the camera for taking pictures for work and set the picture resoluation at the lowest setting which before used to be 2mp but now is 1mp which is great because I email photos and incorporate them into reports.

Anyhow, now I'm finding that the resolution keeps going to widescreen (highest resolution setting) after not using the camera for a while (30 mins - 1 hr). Anyone know how to "set it and forget it?"

its a funky glitch that has been present since the first leak of Gingerbread months ago...hopefully we will get a bug fix for this one...

it happens every time the camera is cleared from memory
