Root Camera lag on gingerbread.

I've tried just about every ROM and kernel combination there is for gingerbread (i know its just a test release so I expected some bugs) bit the one thing that keeps popping up is the horrible lag with the camera. Anybody else experienced this?

Yes, it's pretty bad for me as well

I have three little girls and for me the camera is the second most important feature for me, I'm gonna have to go back to froyo until it gets resolved. Which I'm sure will be very soon! The devs are amazing!

I have three little girls as well so I know what you mean about the camera

I have found that if you turn off auto focus it helps with the lag a lot.

That's exactly what I did - works great. Just use the touch to focus instead. No inconvenience whatsoever for me.

I have also heard that overclocking will help the issue...
