Help Camera Not Working

Hey everyone,

I have a rooted phone with froyo.

Just got the phone today I was putting music on my phone from doubleTwist everything was going fine.
Then i put pictures / videos on my phone and i started getting an SD error and my camera stopped working.

So i reformatted the SD card and the card started to read fine but the camera is still not working

The camera / video looks like its just flashing red & white no picture at all.
(I tried google goggles as well and it looks the same)

Anyone have any advice? Camera was working FINE before SD problems started

EDIT: Tried doing a factory reset too :confused:
 
And the factory reset didn't solve the issue? Weird... I would turn the phone off and take the battery out completely, then wipe off the lens with a cloth. Put the battery back in and turn it on and then see if it isn't any better.

Snap.. sounds like a warranty replacement to me then :(

Unless you are rooted and want to try flashing another ROM, or wait for the 2.2 OTA update to see if that takes care of it.

Hmm if i have it rooted with froyo.. will verizon take it back?

No, but you can flash back to the original ROM. Or just wait a couple days to see if the official 2.2 update hits your phone. If it's a software issue, that will fix it.
