Help Camera problem..

My husband and I both have the HTC evo 4g and my camera can take pictures fine and focus in great but my husbands can only take pictures up close to come out clear.. when he tries to take a regular picture farther away, it comes out blurry and will not focus. When you slide your finger across the screen a number shows up like 19456 or something as the farthest away setting and mine has 19.. I am not sure how to fix this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you contacted sprint about the problem? Maybe its a defective camera. Maybe try a factory reset.( most likely what sprint will suggest )
