Help Camera problem

Is anyone else having an issue with their camera staring up fine but when I touch the button to take the picture, settings or anything else its a no go. I hit the home button and return to my main screen. That's the only thing that will work. Its hit and miss for me using my camera.

Are you on a custom Rom

Stock rooted

Huh. Not really sure. Stock Rom shouldn't have that problem though. Maybe flash a rom that isn't stock.

I may do that. Or flash the stock rooted again and start over with everything. Sucks because i got things the way i like it. But i do use my phone to take a lot of pictures so i need it to work when i want it.

did you root with exoynos abuse and unroot this has been known to bork the camera

I flashed the stock rooted FI22 rom after playing around with a few roms. Then restored my stuff using titanium backup.

Ahh did you restore system apps. That could have replaced the camera app and that would Bork it

That could be it. Its just odd because some times it works and others it doesn't. Its picky..lol

I feel you. But that's not normal and shouldn't happen in stock Rom..

Rule of thumb only restore user data in tb.. system data can cause lots off annoying issues

yeah, I re flashed FI22/rooted and then just did user data with TB and its still acting a fool....I guess my high levels on my games may have to go if I want a working camera...lol

No.... You just don't restore data for system apps. Your game data you can restore.
