Help Camera Resolution Settings?

[tazcollins]

Can someone explain the 5 different camera resolution settings to me and what's best for what picture? If it is set on 1M like my Hero was or the default resolution it is too large for texting. It always says too large and compressing. I can't find this info anywhere. Thanks, TC.

I am not really certain of what you are looking for ....there is a cap put on file size that can be sent via text, email ect...that is for bandwidth reasons

Is that the information you are looking for?

I take pics in full resolution...let it compress them when sent. If I were to lower the resolution up front, send it, then later decide to print that picture the resolution would be awful, the print would suffer and be limited to smaller size prints.
