The issue I am having is not with the MMS, its with the way the camera is saving images, they are blank and grey...not sure whats up, everything else works perfectly fine except for this feature..any suggestions

if you can provide a little information about what your running that might help more.
which version of apex are you on?
which version of froyo are you on?
I know if your on an older froyo and running one of the apex versions thats not right for it, it broke the media (ie saving pictures properly)

Here's what I get on About phone...

System Version 3.3.340.MB810.Verizon.en.US

Android Version 2.2.1

Kernel Version 2.6.32.9-gfb07887

Apex 1.4.1

You've got an outdated kernel, should be (latest): g55626e1

Update it, and it will most likely fix those errors/issues you are getting.

I have the latest kernel and I have the same problem.

I've had this problem on Apex 1.3.1, Liberty1.0, Liberty1.5, and Apex 1.4.1 also on stock froyo so I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the ROM and more to do with the camera/gallery software. The only way I can make it go away is to reboot, and thats only temporary until it happens again, then I reboot again.

None of my videos or music or pictures work, help!
When this happens, it is caused by the user installing Apex over an unsupported, older kernel. The old kernel from the original 2.2 update (system version 2.3.15) is incompatible with Apex. You need to have a 2.2.1 kernel, which was available with the leaked 2.3.320 build, as well as the official 2.3.340 OTA build. Check your Settings->About Phone to make sure your kernel version matches one of the two below (the letters are what counts, not the 2.6.32.9 part)
2.6.32.9-gca645b6 (2.3.320 leak kernel)
2.6.32.9-g55626e1 (2.3.340 OTA kernel)

If you have the TBH app you can download a zip file that updates only the kernel, you might be able to find it at mydroidworld.com too if it hasn't been removed from there.

that still doesn't solve my problem that is the same problem even though i'm on the newest kernel
