Root Camera Swap

I bought my camera on eBay with the band number being Y219 and I swapped it with my camera and it works perfectly. my only problem is on CM 13 I am unable to record video. I can make skype and messenger calls and take pictures but I'm unable to record a video Also when I swapped the camera I made sure all of my wire connections were securely in place. I noticed one of my cables was loose I plugged it back in tightly and put the phone back together now I have full strong LTE and a camera that is working. I have a Virgin Mobile phone. the only 2 fixes I need are to be able to move apps to my SD Card and Record video and ill have a fully functioning version! Thanks for the great advice and work!

Try switching to a newer cm13 build to see if that helps with the video recording. You aren't supposed to be able to move apps to the sd card on cm13. Why don't you try using an app like apps2sd (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.co.pricealert.apps2sd)?

The build I'm using is cm-13.0-20160330-unoffical-x5 I'm a little afraid to use a different build because I do not want to lose my LTE. I will give it a try though could you recommend a build to try? Also, I tried to use the apps2sd but didn't have any luck

In another thread you said you are using the 4/25 build, so which one are you actually using? This http://www.mediafire.com/download/b39ptx5sgu6u9iu/cm-13.0-20160819-UNOFFICIAL-x5.zip is the one you should try using.

I need to go back and correct that post. I'm actually not using the 4/25 build I thought that was the one that i had flashed since I have it on my SD Card I'm actually using the 03/30 build. I will definitely try the build you recommended thank you!

I tried using the build that you suggested the 08/19 build and I'm unable to get any LTE/3G. Also, the service is spotty and keeps dropping. So I'll have to use a different build.

Any ideas on how to get the screws out for the camera swap? They are really tight

Went to the nearest glasses store and they let me use one of their screwdrivers which got the screws out really easily.

Is it such an insurmountable task to figure out what changed pertaining to the rear facing camera between CM11 and CM12?
