Root Camera Troubles CM7

Having Camera Problems happen twice once i reflashed Cm7 and then happen last week seems like when i use the camera alot it freeze then i usally Clear chace and stuff then wait a while then it comes back on after like a half and hour.

Man you must use your camera a lot!
First of all, what ROM are you using? Are you using another kernel or build.prop? When you loaded your ROM, did you remember to cleanly wipe (pun intended)?

I am using the MTDEV CM7 The newest one.

Is this the 10/15 build or the 10/21 beta test build? I always run into a camera FC if I don't wipe data, usually when I switch between camera's a few times. Before posting new builds will first flash without a data wipe just to get an idea of what issues may be expected. In my case though I have only seen issues without the data wipe and then only when switching from front to back camera or vice versa. Is however usually fixed by what is mentioned above and wiping the camera data in the application settings followed by a cache wipe before opening the Camera again. Otherwise the only issue I personally have experienced with the Camera over the last few CM7 builds is I took a video with the ffc and when I went to play it back it was just a bunch of squiggly lines. Tried it again and every build I have flashed since and have not been able to reproduce it. I also probably average somewhere between 5 - 10 flashes a day.

Yep- my first question would be if there was a wipe done between ROMS...
