Can Android 2.1 work for the Eris

i vote we give Chris Brown an Eris and tell him that the 2.1 update cures herpes and kinda see where things end up . . can't get any worse right?
 
So besides the ******ed comments provided by recent users about Chris brown, how many people have received an update as far? I was reading another forum and it said that we may be getting an update by the end of march?
 
No one has received the OTA upgrade yet. The only people who have 2.1 running on their eris work for Verizon/HTC. Afaik, end of March is still the deadline by which they say it will be released.

Don't worry though, you won't have to wait too long. As soon as people get the upgrade, this forum will be one of the first to hear about it.

The Chris Brown comment was just to show how ******ed this is becoming(and lighten things up a bit).

No one past the testers have recieved the update, and if they did its because they are friends of the testers. The release will come when it comes and no, not even Chris Brown can beat it out of Verizon. Mabey Lou Ferrigno, but i here hes an Iphone user. So thats probably out of the question . . . and BTW lighten up. the 2.x update isn't getting you any further in life Or The big V. Plus we all bought the cheapest Android phone out there im pretty sure . . that motto you get what you pay for still holds true . . . .
