Root Can someone port MIUI onto the optimus?

I dont know anything about doing so or else I would undertake the task. Anybody have an answer for me on if it could be done...
 
it's on other cdma phones. However the only optimus it's on is the 2x so I don't think that would be much help.

Looks like a sweet ROM, would be awesome to see some development on it for our phones.
 
After a bit of research I would say nope, not gonna happen on our phones any time soon. MIUI is developed by a Chinese firm and they have not released any source code because their goal is to be picked up by an OEM to make MIUI standard on their phones.

No source pretty much means tough shit unless MIUI makes an official port. Not saying it's impossible but I wouldn't count on it.

The new cyanogen has a much better chance of actually making it here...
 
We already have MIUI on here, although its not official because it has CM7 in it as well...

What you fail to realize is that official MIUI is based off CM.
