Can the Triumph be beat by ZTE Warp?

Motorola (a well known brand)

I'd say Motorola (even with the triumph's issues)

Although the phone is $50 cheaper...

you have to check the resolution... those .2 inches mean nothing if the resolution is the same, or smaller!
 
Looks slightly better in spec. But street price for the MT is not more expensive than ZTE. I just bought my MT brand new for $95 bucks(with some luck). Just have to shop around.

I just don't think its possible to buy one that cheap.
 
Knowing ZTE and it's track record...This phone will be okay. If it had come with 4.0 I would of been impressed. I just wish I could find better specs and no one at my work knows either. I work at Boost/Virgin Mobile. LOL

Wonder if it's a snapdragon, hummingbird, etc?
 
The lack of a FFC may be a killer for some.

The phone looks interesting but ZTE has somewhat of a checkered record. Then again, so does FIH (the people who actually make the Triumph) so there you go.

ZTE is actually a somewhat popular brand outside of the states. The ZTE Blade is a good example.

I think the Triumph (if you manage to get one free of defects) is a better deal overall compared to the Warp. The combination of lower priced plans (with the same 3G service) and the features the Triumph possesses, it outshines the Warp. That said, I'll probably still stop by a prepaid store to check it out. Looks solid.
 
I hate to say it but I kind of like it better than the Triumph. The reason I wouldn't buy is because I would have to wait for the custom roms on it. So I'll rather keep the triumph and I don't want to switch to boost. It doesn't have a front facing camera big turn off. :(

Well if you end up liking it, Hit me up. I'll get it for you with my work discount. LOL Then I'll have to get myself one to see what you'll do with it. =P

And yeah I'm grandfathered into the $40 dollar plan. It's worked well for me.
 
Looks like a nice phone and according to Cnet, it'll have Gingerbread loaded. I'm still sticking to the Triumph. With all the awesome ROM's and Devs we have, the Triumph is awesome.
