Root Can the update be rooted yet

Can the update be rooted yet without downgrading

should i wait for the gingerbread release which looks to sooner than later

I personally would like to root and just debloat the stock rom

without having to go backwards before going forward

Are you talking about the gingerbread leak when you say "update"? If you are you have to be rooted to install the GB leak. It requires flashing a new radio as well as the ROM itself

Not to speak for him, but I think he means the small update that came out last week. The one that is making some peoples TB's reboot.
