Help Cannot change lockscreen security

Ive been using face unlock since day one of getting this phone so I'm not sure if its an app, root, or what may have caused this but I can no longer change it. Hopefully someone may have found a fix to this and can help me out. I cant seem to find the source of the problem for the life of me!

Did you delete the stock launcher? I heard that deleting it causes crashes and problems for lock screen settings

Hello and welcome to the forums . as the other forum member saidnthat the launcher being deleted or I some cases data wiped . but also as u have your SD card disabled . enable the SD card .

Hey guys no I didnt remove the launcher but did remove some of the stock lg apps :/ ill try putting them back (I guess its a good thing that I backup everything lol)

As far as the sd card its not disableb... sometimes when I use the cpanel apps it needs to rescan the sd card and sits at 100% scanned which leaves the notifcation there which is what your seeing.

Got it... its because I removed the "QuickRemote" app:

LGQRemote.apk

Not sure why a tv remote would have an effect on the lock screen but just a heads up for anyone removing stock apps.

In the future if you decide to delete apps . make a back up Yes. But just freeze apps also when you defrost the problem easier . I found that freeze apps is easier cause a deleted app has major problems and require you to keep running your backup .
