cannot connect to camera

about 2 months after i purchased my transform ultra, when using the camer, i started having green lines running thru the pix.. immediately following this when i would click to take a pic, it would say cannot connect to camera then force shut down, never taking the pic.. it rarely ever takes a pic. i have tried several other camera apps & reset to default, cleared cache & data.. nothing.. is my phone camera defective?

It sounds like you have done all that you can do, and from what you have described your phones camera does seem to be defective. You might want to look into some of your other options.

If its not rooted your only way out of this is a factory data reset.
