Help Cannot Connect to HTC Sync

I downloaded and installed the latest version of HTC Sync from the website, and I wanted to syn my DHD as I am receiving a replacement DHD on tuesday.

The thing is, my phone cannot find the software...visa versa.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

What can I do ?

After connecting your DHD to your computer you can choose your connection type, did you choose HTC sync from that list?? I know it's a stupid question, but you might have looked over it and then it won't work...
