Help Cannot dial numbers with + in them

I can dial 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx and xxx-xxx-xxxx, but not +1-xxx-xxx-xxxx. Is this happening to anyone else or is it a ROM issue?

This is especially annoying with voice search; when you search for local things like pizza, it will include the plus in the number, and it won't make the call. Anyone know of a fix or if its just me?

I had it happen with certain dialers mostly from Evo ports it seems. After failing to input a character (I originally noticed it with # signs), if I used the back arrow in the dialer app where the numbers are input, it would then accept a symbol as the first character.

Not sure if its the same thing you're experiencing but thought it may be worth a mention.

I've run into the same problem, but I've had the phone (HTC Incredible) since April and it didn't start happening until this fall. It probbly coinsided have coincided with the last update, but I'm not really sure. It's driving me nuts.
